Dear Family and Friends, When I got my passport, I realized that I will be going to Rwanda with my Missions Team in a few short months. I have my passport done and now I want to tell you what Jesus is doing in my life. I really want you to be a part of this life changing opportunity for me and for the people of Rwanda. God has something special planned and I hope you will want to be a part of it with me. The people in Rwanda have had horrible things happen to them in my lifetime and I am not very old.. I want to do something in my lifetime that will make a difference in theirs. I want to share the love of Jesus with them. I want to tell them they are not alone. So many children in Rwanda have been left alone, no mama, no daddy. Yet the Bible says God will be a father to the fatherless, Psalm 68:5 says, “father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” I want them to know this is true. Would you please pray and find out if God wants you to help me fulfill this call on my life? Would you please ask God what you can do to make a difference in the people of Rwanda? I have been recycling cans and bottles since January of this year to try and raise my mission trip funds on my own. I have raised half of what I need to go to Rwanda. This means God wants me to learn to let others help me and teach me that I cannot do this on my own. I need your help too. I need your prayers most of all. Prayers that I will hear God clearly and plainly Prayers for my health to continue to improve Prayers for my Walk with Jesus to grow Prayers for my team-members safety Prayers for the lives we will touch Prayers for P.E.A.C.E* Would you consider being my prayer partner? If it is possible and the Lord leads you, would you please make a donation to my Mission trip? Just $5.00 a week between now and November would go really Far., and if just 25 people would share $100.00 that would take care of all my expenses. Are you one of the 25 people I need? I have to send in 70% of my expenses by Sept. 28 , that is only one month from now I really need help quickly now.. I will be leaving for Rwanda, from Saddleback Church on November 28 and coming home, December 14, 2008. I have longed for this day all my life. Although I am the youngest member on my team, I know God has called me for a time such as this. Has He called you to come along side of me? Thank you for praying for me and for the people of Rwanda. The path of hope includes partnership with the institution of the church and with individual churches in Rwanda."

Rwanda!!!!
Dear Friends,
Thank you for supporting me on this path of hope. The money you give will help me go serve children who lost their familes through genocide, AIDS and other diseases like malaria. I want to show them the love of Jesus. Giving some one hope when they have no hope at all is what Jesus did for us. Everyone should know this hope.
Going to Africa, I believe, is something G-d has wanted me to do and I have been praying for this moment a long time. A few years infact,
One of the ways my team and I will be helping is to work with networks of churches in Rwanda, to rid the country of Malaria by teaching them with projects such as spraying, distribution of nets, providing medicine, and others. Churches all over Africa, even in the most remote villages, are ready to help carry out these things out.
They love their communities and are willing to work hard to help them. The people trust the churches and will follow the churches’ lead in efforts to get rid of malaria.
Helping to wipe out malaria is the same thing that Jesus did, caring not only for people’s spiritual needs, but for their physical needs as well: “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” (Matt. 4:23 NIV)
One of the groups we will be involved with is Malaria No More. "Malaria No More works to inspire individuals, institutions, and organizations to support a comprehensive approach to end malaria-related deaths." Malaria No More is trying to make a difference and save a lives.
Pray for those who suffer. Get involved. Change the world.

I, the undersigned, affirm the inherent dignity and worth of all people and the right of every child and adult to live free from slavery and involuntary servitude. I call upon world leaders to commit themselves to the abolition of slavery around the world. Let my name demonstrate my desire to see the emancipation of slaves and accountability for slave masters and others who benefit from the enslavement of people.

Superchick - Stand In The RainFrom the album Beauty From Pain 1.1
She never slows downShe doesn’t know why But she knows that when she’s all aloneIt feels like it’s all coming downShe won’t turn aroundThe shadows are longAnd she fears if she cries that first tearThe tears will not stop raining downChorus:So stand in the rainStand your groundStand up when it’s all crashing downYou stand through the painYou won’t drownAnd one day what’s lost can be foundYou stand in the rainShe won’t make a soundAlone in this fight with herselfAnd the fear’s whisperingIf she stands, she’ll fall downShe wants to be foundThe only way out is through everythingShe’s running fromWants to give up and lie down
